1952 Bowman 2 Otto Graham
The 1952 Bowman 2 Otto Graham football card was printed in two different sets by Bowman that year. They were identical except one was a large set and the other was small set. Both featured NFL and college players. Along with Otto Graham, #14 Paul Brown, #16 Frank Gifford and #23 Gino Marchetti were also included.
Otto Graham was a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns were he wore number 60. He spent his college years playing at Northwestern. The Otto Graham NFL era began with him playing with the Browns. He would later go on to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1965.
The 1952 Bowman 2 Otto Graham card features a drawing of him set against a blue background. He has on a brown, orange and white Cleveland Brown’s uniform. He is holding the ball over his head and of course, wearing the number 60.
This card was printed during a time, where entire sets were sold for only 1 cent. Obviously times have changed. Football cards that feature top players, especially those of persons who have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, go for hundreds or even thousands of dollars, considering the source and quality of the card.
If you are looking for trading cards that feature Otto Graham, take a look at eBay. You can simply join in on an ongoing auction and hope to get the winning bid or you can find a “buy it now” sale and purchase it for the listed price.
